農曆新年的第一天 / My First Day of Chinese New Year

恭喜恭喜! 今天是大年初一﹐ 先向各界拜個年。祝大家身體健康﹐萬事如意﹐ 想什麼得什麼。

過年的日子是超開心,每一年的今天都可以睡到很遲才起床﹐但今天不能了因為要到公司做month end closing. 沒關係啦﹐反正公司有給加班費。哈哈!

到了公司後﹐繼續昨天的工作。因為凌晨與父母接財神接到很晚﹐今早工作時無精神在公司睡著了。原本聽說守歲能讓父母長命百歲﹐想做做孝子的我原本想守到早晨六點鐘。但單看外表的我一早就知道不行啦。每一年都說要守﹐但每一年都守不成。結果啊接財神後大約凌晨三點鐘就爬上床會周公的女兒啦。真是不孝。哈哈! 爸媽真對不起啊。但我知道父母一定知道我多愛他們啦﹐爸媽對不對啊? 哈哈﹐看看啦﹐明年一定會有同樣的” 守歲” 。

今天在公司工作到傍晚六點鐘﹐感覺超累所以也不願呆太久。回到家後﹐跟家人吃晚飯後也沒到那裡去﹐只呆在家裡看電視節目。我的年初一就這樣過了﹐接下來的幾天還沒什麼打算。不過肯定的就是一定會回公司繼續我的工作﹐這就是我所謂的新年” 特備節目” 了。

Happy Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai! Today the first day of Chinese New Year, wishing everyone have a Happy Chinese New Year. May the Doggie Year bring good health and longevity to you all & may all your dreams come true.

Chinese New Year is the happiest through out the whole year cause can wake up late. But this year no chance for wake up late cause need to back to office for my company month end closing that crash with CNY. But never mind cause company is paying for my Over Time. Muahahaha.

I continued my yesterday jobs after reached at office but feel tired & fall in sleep cause midnight prayed for the “God of Wealth” until very late together with mom & dad. Heard people say that “Shou Sui”(Stays up all night on New Year's eve) can help parents get long life, thought want to become a loyal son & stay until 6 a.m. But from what you guys know I am a lazy boy, so knew it earlier sure can’t make it. Every year I had planned to do so, but everytime also can’t make it. So pray for the “God of Wealth” until around 3 a.m & met my bed with Datuk Chao daughter. Haha…as knew it earlier I am not loyal at all. Sorry for mom & dad, but I guess they know I love them so much. Mom & Dad, right? Haha. Watch out for next year, the same “Shou Sui” sure will happen again. Haha…

Today just work until 6p.m, feel very tired & gone back home. After had my dinner with my family, just stay at home watch CNY special TV programs. This is how my 1st day of CNY passed; the rest of the days have not plan yet. But for sure I will back to office to continue my month end closing,this is what I call “Special Program” for my CNY.;-)

這幾天當收拾房間時﹐無意中找到了從新加坡買回來的其中一張專輯。那是梁靜茹的<<絲路>>專輯。 這張專輯買了這麼久也還沒聽過。 放了光碟到電腦裡後﹐歌曲開始播放著。 專輯裡頭收集了十首情歌﹐每一首歌曲都唱得很好聽。我最喜歡的一首歌是第一首的<< 絲路>>。 這首歌讓我百聽不倦﹐甚至還要重播。專輯裡頭的歌詞講述了男女之間的愛情故事﹐ 太有意識了。 我想這應該是梁靜茹史上以來唱得最好聽以及最有味道的一首歌吧。以下是她的歌詞﹐ 請讀讀吧。 這張專輯物有所值﹐非買不可。



This few days while cleaned up my room, accidentally found a CD that bought from Singapore. Is an album of songs sang by Fish Leong- SILKROAD of LOVE. I never listen the songs in this album before even bought it long time ago. Put the CD into CD Rom, it start playing. There is 10 love songs in this album, the most I like is the first song- SilkRoad. I like this song very much & even repeat & repeat, not even feel bore. The lyrics in this album is all about the love stories between boy & girl. Is really meaningful. I think this is the best song even sang by Fish Leong before. My Off Day...

Wow… had been half-month not update my blog, just want to make sure don’t want to become another Ah Fei Fei (not update for his blog almost 2 months, but now he is back :-P) so here will update something on what I did these few days. First, just want to wishes everyone a Delay Merry Christmas although Christmas is past & I have been off from 20th to 27th of December….wow, such a long holiday. 8 days off… not much things can do at home. No holiday trip too. Accept met my old friend came back from Japan on Christmas Eve, get an Initial D key chain from him & for living 24 years in this world, I received my 1st Christmas present from him… it is Hard Rock Café t-shirt from Osaka-Japan. Is really happy I get another collection for Hard Rock Café t-shirt.

The rest of the day just stayed at home. Morning watched TV programs, then afternoon cleaned up my room cause is too messy & dirty but until now still can’t finish the cleaning. See that? This is a lazy boy….haiii… after cleaned for half day went to slept. At night, watched TV programs again. Not much enjoy for these off days. At first plan to go Penang meet up my colleagues there but end up cancelled the plan due to some reasons.

Today is 30th, the eve of the New Year eve. 30th mean month end, month end mean what? Mean I have to stay back at office for the company month end closing for churn out reports to users. Oh… is tire man. Most of my colleagues had gone back home & some of them not working today & already back to hometown for celebrate New Year. Oh, is pretty sad. I am lazy to work over time at office now a day, especially sometimes have to work on public holiday. Is a bit jealous when people can celebrate & I can’t. :-( I thought I am the only “victim” have to work on New Year among my friends but when reading Fei’s blog he did mention will work on New Year Eve & New Year too. Haha, thought he will join me work on New Year. But just now when chat with him he said will off on New Year too & heading toward to Genting Highlands on New Year Eve. Shit! Everyone is off… haiii, how can like that. But no choice for me cause I am in charge for those reports for the users. Anyway, the company is paying me for over time for come back to work... haha.

Nightmare Part II... I hated you!!!

After the nightmare incident, I am very careful when ordering drinks. Make sure there is no coffee mix up with the drinks. Last Saturday went to Mid Valley Mega Mall for celebrated DV’s birthday. After that, Fei, DV & me plan to watch movie but no tickets is available at that time. So we walked around & went to one of the café to ordered drinks. DV said treat me for the drinks but I said don’t want. But at the end I still ordered cause DV & Fei keep on asked me to order. Thanks DV for the treat too. So this time I am very careful & make sure the drink no coffee add in. So I ordered the drink at the “Non Coffee Drinks” column. There is a drink called “Sunrise” & at the side they put a word “Orange” in bracket. So what do you guys think? Is orange juice right? If your answer is “yes” then you are wrong. I “lai yeh”(make mistake) again. Is not orange juice, is milk with orange flavor… haaaaiiiiiii….. As what doctor advised me before, I got gastric & should not drink milk. If I throw the drink, will be wasted. So no choice just finished it. After a while, I feel stomach pain. Fei & DV suggested to go toilet, but not feeling want to go. Then I feel want to vomit. Is nightmare again!! So I decided went back earlier. After dismissed with DV & Fei, back to home straight away. At home, stomach pain & the vomit feeling still continued until I fall in sleep at midnight. What the shit man! I hated milk & coffee!!!! No more nightmare for me pleaseeeee!!!!

Is that "fixed"?

Do you believe on what Horoscope tells? Is that everything true on what they tell? I have a habit on reading Horoscope weekly. If you guys read my previous post, I am sure you can remember the post title name called A little surprised!! In that post, I did mentioned on want to work at Singapore next year. This is my wish long time ago & is approved by my parents.

On last Sunday when I read the Horoscope from newspaper, they did mentioned that I should not work at oversea & should stay at Malaysia. There will be a little surprise if continue work at Malaysia. They did mention I will meet a lucky person soon & this person will help me success in my career. But this person surname must be Wong, Lim, Yap & so on... On last 2 weeks, one of the departments from my company had left one person & now they are looking for new staff but for the moment are open for internal staff to apply. I am interesting on that job. Coincidently I found the department assistant surname is Yap. Is she is the lucky person that mentioned by the Horoscope? Is that everything “fixed”? Is that mean I really need to stay at Malaysia & do not go to Singapore? Anyway, had given my letter to my boss for make a transfer to the department. But not yet interview, not yet approve from HR too. Next week will conduct an interview. For the moment I have no idea what will happen for the next step….

Nightmare & some recall on Saturday night

Saturday went for “yum cha” with Fei & Afoi at Wong Kok Restaurant, followed them ordered “Yin Yong” drinks. At first don’t know what is “Yin Yong” (please don’t laugh), when the drinks was served then only know is coffee mixed with tea. Shit!!!… the most had drinks in my life, cause I don’t like to drink coffee & is not good for health. But what to do, die die finished it. Nearly vomit, the taste is so bad! I really hate coffee. After that, Afoi fetched me back to my apartment & followed by Fei. After back to home, the nightmare started! The time is around 12:30am. Though want to straight away sleep. My eyes can’t even close. Never feel want to sleep. Then woke up & studied books, filled in some application forms….the time is passing, but still got no feeling want to sleep… continued studied books, time is passing. Look at the clock, shit.. is just 2am. Can’t even sleep. Really don’t know what to do. A lot of things recall back from my mind. Again look at the clock is 2:30am only. The clock is slow like snail walk. Waited & waited, finally felled in sleep at around 5am. What the shit man, one cup of coffee makes me so strong for the whole night. Promise, next time ask before order.

A lot of things recall from my minds on that night, one of the thing is the cartoon character. When I was child, cartoon series is a must for me. Do you guys remember a cartoon character called Smurf? I like this character a lot. They live at the mushroom. They have a big family member. The creator of Smurfs is Pierre Culliford or knows as Peyo. But he is no longer here since 1992 else I believe the Smurfs will have their own movie. My Company Trip

Wow, really enjoy the Singapore Trip. Just after 1 week back from Singapore trip, here come another trip. Just went for a company trip to Cameron Highland for 3 days 2 nights. Journey started on Friday (11.11.2005). 8:30am gathered at office, bus moved at 9am. By 1:30pm, we had our lunch at one of the restaurant at mid of Cameron Highland, Ferm Nyonya Restaurant. After lunch proceed to Equatorial Hotel, the highest place at Cameron Highland for check in. Then is our leisure time. I followed Malacca branch staffs went to Straw Berry Park & market to bought foods. The vegetables there is quite cheap compare to PJ. After that we back to hotel for bath, then proceed to ballroom for dinner. They prepared a special meal for me; I mean the meal is vegetarian food. While others having their BBQ style dinner. After dinner, is our leisure time. Some of us gathered at apartment for a small chitchat session. Some of them drunk & red wine is a must for them. But for me, I don’t like wine & beer. So just sat there watched TV programs. We gathered until 2am & back to hotel for rest.

The second day, I woke up at 6am cause had planned to watch sunrise & snap some photos earlier. After bath & changed clothe, at 6:20am walked to the small garden alone. Is pretty cool. Had waited until 6:35am, but just manage to saw a little bit light. Waited until 7am still can’t see the sun cause too cloudy & also caused by the first night rain. So no choice, back to hotel for my breakfast. After breakfast, we went for half-day tour to tea plantation. At there, the view is amazing. We get to know the processes of the tea. We snapped a lot of photos too. Then we proceed to strawberry farm. This is my first time get to know how strawberries plant like. Then proceed to market. Didn’t buy anything & back to hotel for the lunch. While they having their Streamboat, I was having my special meal. After that, we went to bees farm. Just walk around & snapped few photos. The flower there is pretty nice. We went to Butterflies Garden too after back from bees farm. A lot of things can see at the Butterflies Garden. Then we back to hotel for a rest & wait for the “Safari Night Dinner”.

At Safari Night, there are a lot of funs. The very first program on that night is Snake Show by the snake king. Then followed by Award Presentation to those staffs that work for 10,15 & 20 years. And then the lucky drawn is a must for every year. The grand prize is 34 inch TV, thought want to win the TV for my family cause my house TV already stay with us for 22 years but unlucky just won a toaster. Disco dance is on too on that day. Basically that’s all for the Safari Night. After the dinner, we back to room for rest.

The next day morning, I woke up at 6am too & tried to meet the sunrise but not able to see. So went for breakfast at 7am, then we proceed to market too. Just bought vegetables & strawberry. After that back to hotel & checked out at 10:30am. Bus arrived at 11:30am & back to PJ at around 4:30pm. That’s the story of my company trip.

Feel very happy can attended for this trip, met a lots of staffs & clerks from branches that always called up & talk to me one. I think only Penang branch clerk I can’t meet with cause they not attending for this trip. But later will go to Penang to meet up with them cause promise with them earlier.

The Care Of My Dad...

I’m sure in everyone heart; they want a father & a mother that take care of them. I’m happy having a father that so care of us. When I was child, my dad always took the whole family visited some destinations in Malaysia. Sometimes he took us for a movie too. Even we don’t have car previously, but he will tried the best way to reached the destinations like by bus, by taxi…etc.

Previously, my dad had a good temper & a happy smile. But recent years, his temper has change a lot. From good temper become bad temper. Always angry. Family members not happy with him. My youngest sister is the most having conflicts with my dad. Always argue with each other. My dad always let people feel or thought like he is not care about us. But, what I want to say is thought is just a thought… is just a thought. Why? Because I realized something, I realized the caring of my dad from Singapore. When we having our “Tong Shui” session at the second last day at Singapore, each of us went to order our own drinks & foods. My sister ordered foods from a bit far & she had to wait longer. When all of our foods & drinks was almost finish, my sister still not back to the table where we sat. So my dad start worried about her. At first he went to look for her, but after 1 round back, my dad said can’t see my sister. So all of us was scared, especially my dad face. We saw his worry face, is really scared me. All of us started look for my sister, finally dad found her at a corner & still waiting for the food. By this time, I realized how good my father is. He is such a good father. Only his temper needs to change. Really hope he can change his temper & hope my sister & dad can always calm down. Dad, we still love you & care of you!

My Singapore Trip

Holiday for Raya & Deepaveli had over last 2 weeks…. Wow…is almost 1 week off. Such a long holiday & I just went for trip with my family members to Singapore. Actually last year been there already but not much time spend on that trip cause just four days. So this year make another trip with family since got such long holiday. For this trip, there is a happy & sad for me. The main purpose I went to Singapore is to snap photos & buy my collection. The happy thing is I get my collection – Hard Rock Café t-shirt (is original, cost me S$27 mean almost RM60)…. Yahoo.. I promise I want to get the Hard Rock Café t-shirt from each of the country that I visit but somehow I will also ask my friends to buy me if they go for trip. The sad thing is the resolution for the photos that I snapped at nighttime is not clear especially at the Merlion cause I forgot to bring my tripod & when take photos the time hand is shaking & make the photos so blur. Is so sad.

The journey started on Monday (31st October, 10:30pm), we went there by train. It took around 8 hours to Singapore. We live at my Aunty house. The first day we went to China Town. This is the first time I went to China Town. China Town is some place like Malaysia Petaling Street. A lot of things can get there as long as you got money. Eating is not a problem too cause there is a lot of food stalls & restaurant too & I feel that at Singapore there are more people become vegetarian & food stall for vegetarian are very easy to find. I found a vegetarian restaurant but the sad thing is the restaurant was closed. So no choice just ate “Tang Yuen” with nuts. The taste is not bad. Family members ordered their own meals. Not much activity on first day.

The Second day we went to Sentosa Island. At Sentosa, some place is doing renovation & compare to last year some of the place had changed. The beaches still remain the same. There is no more “bugs” train service. The Merlion still remain the same. Only at the side is doing renovation. The plan that we planned earlier is cancelled. Supposedly we were going to watch the fountain with light at nighttime but due to the time is still early & all of us were tired so had cancelled the plan & head toward to The Largest Fountain In The world- “FOUNTAIN OF THE WEALTH”. Knew this fountain from the reality game show - The Amazing Race. The fountain is really nice. We are so lucky, when we reached at the fountain the water not yet shoot out. Just after 1 minute, then water shot out. Is amazing! But we never wait until the light on cause will be very late. So after snapped photos, straight back to home.

The third day we went to Orchard Road, the main purpose here as I mention above is to get the Hard Rock Café t-shirt. So we had search for the shop up and down & asked people where is it, finally we found it at the end of the road. After get the t-shirt, we back to house & prepared go to Merlion. We reached at Merlion at 6:30pm. On the way to Merlion, we also passed by the Port Club & had taken some photos. At Merlion, the main purpose here is to take photos with Merlion at the night view. We had waited until the light shot at the Merlion, is amazing view! Had taken some photos, but I feel very sad cause most of the night view very blur cause I used night mode to take & the night mode had to waited for around 15 seconds & between the 15 seconds my hand shouldn’t shake. Because I forgot to bring my tripod & my hand was shake make the photos very blur. After finished the snapping session, we back to Bedok for our dinner & then back to home.

The fourth day we went to Bugis. We just walked around, didn’t buy anything at there. Snapped some photos & we pray at the Guan Yin Temple too. After that back to Bedok for dinner then walked around at the shop at night & also had our “tong shui” session. Basically the fourth day not much activity.

The fifth day is the last day we stayed at Singapore, so we had planned to see the sunrise. 6am woke up & walked to the beach side near where we stay. Not really sure what is the place name. Waited for the sunrise quite long & not really saw the sunrise from the beginning cause when the sunrise there is a bit cloudy cause day before this was rain. I am quite happy with the results for the photos that I snapped. Is really nice. The beach that we went can see a lot of aero plan fly over & we tried to snap a photo that using my hand for “holding” the aero plan. We had snapped this photo more then 10 times, errr… maybe 20 times cause every time when want to snap, the plan either passed or not reach my hand. haha. Finally we had taken the photo. I really like this photo. This photo will post at my new blog cause want to post all the best photos there. After that back to house for breakfast then we proceed to China Town again cause my sisters want to buy something. Reached at China Town, we walked around. My sisters bought some clothes & souvenirs. Then we back to house prepared for dinner.

We having the dinner with my Aunty family then back to house again prepared go to railway station. Thanks a lot to my aunty cause allowed us to stay there for so many days. We head toward to railway station around 8pm. Reached at station around 9pm. The train that we sat arrived at 10:15pm & moved at 10:30pm. That’s the end of my holiday, say bye bye to Singapore! I just post some photos here, the rest will be at my new blog & I will try to up the new blog by this week.
