沙巴之旅 - 第三天 / Journey to Sabah - Day 3

這一天和昨日一樣凌晨五點四十五分就起床了﹐根本就睡不著。收拾好衣服後﹐在庭院走走。七點四十五分我們開車到同心素食館用早餐﹐過後來到了加亞街(Gaya Street) 。這條街有賣很多東西﹐人潮擁擠﹐但只在星期天擺攤。走了一陣子後﹐我們來到了其中一個賣紀念品的攤子。在這裡買了紀念品後﹐九點十五分就趕路上位於沙巴北部的古達(Kudat)。

Day 3 same as yesterday woke up at 5:45am, packed up my bag & rest for a while. We went to One Vision Vegetarian Restaurant at 7:45am for breakfast & proceed to Gaya Street. There are a lot of stalls at the street & selling a lot of things & the street is full with people and also foreigners, but from what Miss XX told me the street is just open on every Sunday. We just walked around & bought souvenirs from one of the souvenir stall. Then we started our journey at 9:15am to the north of Sabah, Kudat.

我們從亞庇驅車大約用了三個小時的車程(大約一百九十公里)﹐一路上我們經過了沙巴大學(University Malaysia Sabah) ﹑小鄉村﹑哥打毛律(Kota Belud) ﹑還有一些小地方我忘了記起來。一路上有很多牛羊在馬路上越過﹐車子必需停下讓步﹐因為它們也有交”路稅” 。哈哈! 在它們眼中根本就” 目中無人” 。在途中﹐我們還停下車子買花生﹐據說這裡的花生很出名。三個小時的車程好辛苦﹐腰酸背痛﹐好不容易才看到” 歡迎光臨古達” 的字眼。

The journey almost took 3 hours from Kota Kinabalu (around 190km). On the way to Kudat, we past through UMS (University Malaysia Sabah), small villages, Kota Belud & few places that I could not remember. Cows & goats can see anywhere on the road, the most important thing is car must slow down the speed & stop for them to cross over the road cause they also “pay for road tax”, haha. After drive for such a long distance, we stop at halfway for a rest & bought some peanuts. Heard people said that Kudat is famous with peanuts & I just bought few packs. 3 hours of journey is totally tired, backache & butt almost cramp. Finally we saw the “Welcome to Kudat” signboard & we reached at Miss XX Uncle’s house at 12:30pm.

中午十二點三十分終於抵達XX小姐伯父的家﹐面帶笑容的他歡迎我們的到來。放下行李後﹐休息一會兒﹐他帶我們到惜緣素食館用午餐。過後我們到古達一帶走走。

Miss XX’s uncle welcomes us with smiling face & he prepared a room for me. We rest for a while & Miss XX’s uncle treated us for the lunch at Xi Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant. After lunch, Miss XX’s uncle took us to walk around at Kudat.

首先我們來到了時鐘塔﹐然後經過了古達分行的沙巴圖書館。之後我們去了海邊走走﹐經過了古達回教堂再轉進了古達體育館﹐然後來到了古達高爾夫球高級酒店。在兜兜轉轉後﹐來到了古達飛機場。眼前出現了一架小型飛機﹐超喜歡這架飛機﹐在機前與它拍照留念。

First we went to Clock Tower, then past through Sabah Library at Kudat branch. After that we went to Esplanade seaside, snapped few photos here & past through a mosque. Then we turned into the Kudat Stadium & also the Kudat Golf & Marina Resort. The following place we went to is Kudat Airport. When walked into the Air Port, I saw a mini aeroplane in front of me & I like it a lot. After get permission from the trainer, we snapped photo with the aeroplane.

在沙巴怎樣都離不開大海﹐我們又來到了邦邦海灘(Bak-Bak Beach) 。據說在這裡曾經發生沉船事件﹐一艘日本船沉沒在海灘附近﹐沉船年份與船名不曉得﹐但還可以清澈地看見船的殘骸浮在海面。在這裡拍照後﹐我們回到了XX小姐伯父的家休息一會。XX小姐的伯父問我來這是否要看日落﹐我說是。他說將帶我到一個地方看日落﹐那地方在沙巴是唯一的一個地方能看見日出與日落的地方﹐意思是說站在同一地方早上可以看見日出傍晚可以看見日落的地方。那地方座落在古達最北部 (婆羅洲最北部) ﹐名字叫”燈火樓” (The Tip Of Borneo, (Tanjung Simpang Mengayau)) ﹐近年來政府還大力推廣這地方為觀光區﹐就連香港TVB無線電視台也拉大隊來這裡拍攝外景[詳細資料請按這裡]。

At Sabah you will never escape from the seaside cause you can see it anywhere & again we went to Bak-Bak Beach after that. Heard from people saying that there is a Japanese ship sank near the Bak-Bak Beach seaside, the name & the ship sank year unknown but we still managed to see part of the wreck floating on the sea. Snapped few photos here & we back to home for a rest. Miss XX’s uncle asked me came to Kudat is it want to watch sunset & I answered yes. He told that we will going to a place that can watch sunset & the place is the only place at Sabah that manage to watch sunrise & sunset at the same location. Meaning when standing at the same place you can watch sunrise in the morning & watch sunset in the evening. The place is located at the most Northern of Kudat or Sabah, the name of the place is The Tip Of Borneo (Tanjung Simpang Mengayau). These few years government had announced that The Tip Of Borneo as a scenic place & encourage people to visit this place, even the Hong Kong TVB TV Station also came over here for filming.

四點四十五分我們開始了燈火樓的旅程﹐一路上可以看見很多椰樹。進入燈火樓的路段很難走因為是碎石路﹐車子抖得很厲害﹐所以一路上我們得到了”免費按摩” ﹐哈哈! 大約用了四十分鐘才到達燈火樓﹐當我打開車門在燈火樓踏下我人生的第一步時﹐我第一次看見了我人生還未看過的美景﹐超讚! 這裡風似很強﹐我望著大海﹐頭腦是空白的﹐只聽到風聲在我耳旁響起。我根本不敢相信我能從西馬飛到東馬再到達婆羅洲最北部﹐但這是事實﹐哈哈。

We started the journey to The Tip Of Borneo at 4:45pm; along the way you can see a lot of coconut tree at both of the roadsides. The only thing I don’t like is the road; all the way we got a “free massage” cause the road is gravel. We almost took 45 minutes to reach there. When I open the car door & put my first step at Tip Of Borneo, this is the first time I saw the most beautiful scenery in my life. The place really impressed me with the nice sea view; the wind here is super strong. When I faced to the sea, my mind is blank and the only thing I can hear is wind blow sound past through my ears. I never believe I can flight over to Kota Kinabalu from West Malaysia and from Kota Kinabalu travel straight to the Northern of Borneo, but this is fact! Haha!

站在燈火樓聽著海浪聲﹐心情完全放松﹐只感覺到開心與快樂。在這裡我同時望到了蘇魯海和南中國海因為燈火樓就是兩海的相交點。我在這拍了好多照﹐但部份的照片不清﹐有點失望。最遺憾的是這一天的天氣不好﹐我無法看到日落。我們只逗留到六點半﹐在離開燈火樓之前我望著大海﹐對著燈火樓說我一定會再回來這裡。如果您是沙巴人而又未到過這裡﹐我勸您還是早日來這兒看看。

Standing at The Tip Of Borneo listened to the wave sound is relaxing for me; the only thing I can feel is happy & happy. Meanwhile, I managed to see the Sulu Sea & the South China Sea at the same time cause The Tip Of Borneo is the meet point for both of the sea. I had snapped a lot of photos but feel a bit sad cause by part of the photos really blur, but the most regret thing for me is I can’t watch sunset cause by bad weather. We stayed until 6:30pm, but before we leave I promise to myself that I will be back to The Tip Of Borneo very soon. If you are Sabahan & never step at here before, I hope you can come to The Tip Of Borneo soon & you will never regret for such a nice place.

回程時﹐我們在迷你商店買食物準備今晚的晚餐。晚上八點鐘抵達XX小姐伯父的家後﹐他們開始準備晚餐﹐八點四十五分開始用餐。這頓晚餐是他們為我而準備的﹐真的不知要說些甚麼﹐只能對他們說聲謝謝。這一晚特別累﹐所以十點半就回房休息了。

After back to town, we bought some foods at mini shop for our dinner & back to home at 8pm. They started to prepared cook the foods & we had our dinner at 8:45pm. I really don’t know what should I said for the dinner cause they prepared it special for me, the only thing that I should say is Thanks a lot to them for the care. Today feel really tired & met up with the bed at 10:30pm.

沙巴之旅 - 第二天 / Journey to Sabah - Day 2

清晨雞啼聲從我耳邊響起﹐望出窗外天色已亮﹐還以為睡遲了。看看手錶才五點四十五分﹐想一想才記得東馬的時間是比西馬快一小時﹐所以天色才會亮得比較早。但是政府還是把兩地的時間拉回相同﹐有點不習慣。在這可說是整晚沒睡過﹐因為要多謝那吸血鬼整晚在我耳旁嘮叨地響個不停﹐再加上這裡是鄉村﹐空氣是超冷的﹐真的是無法入睡。我獨自在屋外走走﹐看見了XX小姐的”獨立洋房”對面有間廟。本想進去拜拜﹐但那兒有野狗﹐所以放棄了。最令我想不到的是當我望向XX小姐屋子側左邊的小山丘時﹐不盡讓我捏了一把冷汗﹐因為我看見了墳場。抖了抖﹐心中說聲”百無禁忌﹐阿彌陀佛”﹐連忙跑進屋裡。想開口跟XX小姐說我看見了甚麼時﹐當我指向墳場那裡話還沒講完時﹐聰明的她笑著問我是否看見了墳場。我看她不想我擔心所以昨晚才不肯告訴我﹐因為昨晚當車子駛進時一片黑暗﹐甚麼都看不見。最後她對我說了一句”你不犯他們﹐他們就不犯你啦”。想想也是﹐因為現在我住的地方對面也是墳場呀﹐有甚麼好怕。

Woke up in the morning and looked at the sky outside the window, it started dawn. Thought I was over sleep, but when looked at the watch it shows 5:45a.m. Now only I remember that the time at East Malaysia is 1 hour faster than West Malaysia, that’s the reason it dawn earlier but Government still change the East Malaysia time same as West Malaysia time. The whole night I can’t sleep very well because all thanks to “my best friends”(mosquitoes) “telling stories” beside my ears, added here is village & the weather is super cold make me can’t sleep. I was walking around the village & found out that there is a temple just opposite to Miss XX’s house. Thought want to go there for a pray but there is a lot of dogs outside the temple, so can’t make it. It shocked me when I looked at the small massif at the other opposite side of Miss XX’s house, guess what I saw? Is a cemetery. Shake for 2 seconds, just said “Amitabha” & run into the house. Thought want to tell Miss XX what I saw just now, but she is so clever & asked me back is it saw the cemetery. I think she don’t want to tell me yesterday night cause don’t want to scare me, because when the time we came back is so dark & can’t see anything.

在屋裡坐了一會﹐九點十五分XX小姐帶我到坐落在新兵南邦(Penampang Baru) 的同心素食館用餐。過後我們來到了坐落在下南南(Inanam) 的聖凱特利教堂(St. Catherine Church) 。在這裡拍了照後﹐我們來到了坐落在市中心的中央廣場(Centre Point)。

At 9:15a.m, we went to One Vision Vegetarian Restaurant for our breakfast. After that, follow Miss XX to the St. Catherine Church located at Inanam. Snapped few photos here & proceed to Centre Point located at Kota Kinabalu for shopping.

過後XX小姐因有點事要做﹐所以我獨自來到了獨立廣場(Wisma Merdeka)走走。過後到了二樓的一個素食檔子﹐這檔子是榮(NottyBoy)的伯母和她的朋友合開的﹐東西還蠻好吃。

After that, I went to Wisma Merdeka alone cause by Miss XX got some emergency case need to settle. Lunchtime went to the vegetarian restaurant located at the 2nd floor. This vegetarian restaurant was open by NottyBoy’s aunty & his auntie’s friends. The food here is delicious.

因為獨立廣場對面就是大海﹐趁還有時間就去了那兒走走。我還租了快艇越過對岸的加亞島(Pulau Gaya) 。這島都是菲律賓人居住的﹐本想上岸看看但快艇駕駛員說這裡的人很壞﹐所以放棄了﹐只拍了幾張照。回岸後﹐我沿著海岸走去﹐經過了亞庇中央菜市場﹐然後來到了哥打京那巴魯廣場(KK Plaza) 走走。這裡的廣場和西馬的廣場大致上都一樣。

The opposite of the Wisma Merdeka is the seaside, cause by still early so went there for a look. I rent a speedboat for crossed over to the Gaya Island that opposite to Wisma Merdeka. The residents at the island are Filipino, thought want to visit the village in the island but the speedboat driver not allowed cause they said the residents here are very bad so at the end can’t make it. Just snapped few photos & back to Kota Kinabalu. I walk through the seaside again & passed through the Kota Kinabalu Market (Pasar Besar Kota Kinabalu). After that went to KK Plaza for a window-shopping. The shopping center here is not much different compare with the shopping center at West Malaysia.

五點鐘XX小姐帶我來到了丹絨亞如海灘(Tanjung Aru Beach)﹐這裡的風景還不錯。本想在這兒拍日落﹐但沒有眼福因為天氣不好﹐只坐了一會就回了。我們回到了同心素食館用餐﹐過後就回到XX小姐的家休息。這一天比較早休息因為明天要趕路上某某地方﹐下一篇才跟你說那地方是那裡﹐賣個關子吧! :-)

5p.m we went to Tanjung Aru Beach, the sea view here is nice. The earlier plan was snap the sunset photo at here but can’t make it cause the weather is very bad, so just snapped few seaside photos & proceed to One Vision Vegetarian Restaurant for dinner. After dinner, we straight away back to Miss XX’s house for rest. Today sleep earlier cause the next day we will have a long journey to somewhere, will let you know in the next post where is the next stop we went to. 沙巴之旅 - 第一天 / Journey to Sabah - Day 1

今年已工作四個月多都沒拿過休假﹐很想去某某地方旅游﹐所以就決定了來個五天四夜沙巴之旅吧。

這趟旅游我獨自上路﹐從星期五(五月十二日)中午一點四十分出發﹐兩點三十分在從吉隆坡中環(KL Sentral) 坐一個小時的巴士來到了亞航機場(LCC-Terminal)。報到和檢查行李後﹐在那傻傻地等了大約兩小時。飛機終于在五點四十五分起飛了。這次搭飛機的感覺比上次來得好﹐但是在跑道沖上天空的感覺真的很怕﹐每一次都是那麼怕﹐我也不知道在怕甚麼。這天的天氣超好﹐我真的很有眼福因為這是我生平第一次從機上看到了日落。你們也有眼福因為我拍下了這一幕。哈哈。

八點鐘到達了哥打京那巴魯亞航機場﹐踏出了機場就看見了我的同事(稱她為XX小姐)。她帶我去吃晚餐﹐晚餐後因為太夜了所以直接回XX小姐的"獨立洋房"。她的家坐落在乒南邦(Penampang)的董加航鄉村(Kampung Dungkahang)。洗澡後直接回房休息﹐感覺上東馬的人比西馬的人早睡。這就是我第一天的行程。


Year 2006 is passing so fast, now already May & I had work for 4 months that never take any leave. So April planned to take leaves on May for a five days four nights holiday trip to Sabah.

I was alone for the trip. The trip started on Friday 12th May at 1:40pm from home, 2:30pm took one-hour journey by SkyBus from KL Sentral to AirAsia LCC-T (Low Cost Carrier Terminal). After check in, waited there for almost 2 hours like an idiot. Finally the plane departed at 5:45pm. The feeling on the flight is much better than last time, but when the time the plane speed up to the sky I was scared. I wasn’t known why every time I so scared at the speed up. The weather on the day was super perfect; I am super lucky because this is my 1st time managed to see the sunset on the plane in my life. I snapped the photo for the sunset too. Hehe.

8pm reach at AirAsia Kota Kinabalu Terminal. After stepped out to the terminal, met up with my colleague Miss XX. She accompanied me for my dinner, and the time was late so we straightaway back to her “Stand Alone Bungalow” located at Dungkahang Village, Penampang. After bath, straightaway sleep cause need more energy for tomorrow. I feel the east Malaysian sleep more early than the west Malaysian. Basically, this is my schedule for the 1st day.

不孝子。。。 / I'm Not A Filial's Son...

雖然母親節已過了四天﹐但我在這還是要對母親說聲”母親節快樂”。媽﹐愛您一萬年。哈哈。在母親節當天做了不孝子﹐沒能和母親慶祝母親節因為要出遠門﹐但在出門前做了一件母親想不到的事, 那就是親吻了母親的面。這勇氣也不知從那兒來的, 昨天才從小妹的口中得知我的那麼一親差點讓母親落淚﹐這是母親告訴小妹的。

其實孝心不一定只是在母親節才實行﹐對我來說每天都是母親節, 不要等到她不再時才來孝敬﹐那已太遲了。在此﹐願天下所有的母親”母親節快樂”。

Although Mother's Day has passed 4 days ago, I’m here wishing my mom Happy Mother's Day. Mom, I love you! Haha. I’m not a filial's son to my mom, on Mother's Day did not celebrate together with my mom & family cause went out to somewhere. But before went to somewhere, I did something that mom will never though before. Guess what? I gave a big kiss to my mom face; see how brave am I. Haha. My sister told me yesterday, she said the kiss that I gave to my mom almost make my mom cry, this is what my mom told my sister.

Actually filial is not only given on Mother's Day, for me everyday is Mother's Day. Do not wait until she is not here then only filial to her, that is too late. Again, wishing every mom in the world a Happy Mother's day.

它也有那個! / It also got that thing!

它也有那個!星期天母親從菜市場買了一大包番茄回來﹐結果發現了其中一粒長有那個”小弟弟”。這還是第一次看見這樣的番茄﹐長得還蠻像的。不知這”小弟弟”會給家人的哪一位仁兄吃下去﹐哈哈!

It also got that thing! Last Sunday Mom bought a pack of tomatoes from market & found out one of the tomato has it own “bird”. This is my first time see such tomato, it look like the real one. Not sure this “bird” will eat by whom later, haha!
